LIVIN’ RIGHT REAL ESTATE
For Matt McGee, who grew up in Fort Walton Beach, owning Livin’ Right Real Estate is more than his way of making a living.
When he was able to relocate his business this past July, he saw so much opportunity to do more than real estate.
“It gives a better physical presence in the community and to do things outside of the office,” McGee said.
Part of that presence in the included the Livin’ Right Nights, facilitated by McGee and his staff. Partnering with the Fort Walton Beach Yacht Club and a variety of local businesses, throughout the summer the Livin’ Right Nights featured evenings of stand-up paddle boarding, a little bit of sailing, and a chance to discover beyond Northwest Florida gulf beaches.
McGee said that when the cooler weather comes, he hopes to continue Livin’ Right Nights through possible neighborhood bike rides or other activities.
McGee and Livin’ Right Real Estate have been a part of the area for 10 years. The new location allows McGee and his staff to continue specializing in waterfront properties.
“We focus on Northwest Florida as a lifestyle on the water,” McGee said.

BRANDON LEWIS STATE FARM
After several years of working as an insurance adjuster and with claims, Brandon Lewis saw people at the worst times of their lives.
“Being an adjuster was a very gratifying job,” Lewis said, “helping someone after they lost everything.”
The perspective inspired Lewis to try to help people prepare for disasters.
In April, he opened Brandon Lewis Insurance as a State Farm an independent contractor agent.
“It’s all about properly protecting our customers,” he said.
His personal approach is to spend time with each client to review their coverage, but to also inform them of the investment and banking options also available through State Farm: options such as property and casualty insurance, life and health insurance, annuities, mutual funds and banking products.
He added that State Farm as a national company allows him to focus on customer service while also being a part of the community.
“I want to be part of my customers’ lives,” Lewis said. “I don’t want to be someone who just takes payments.”
